Dear Friends and Family:
Welcome to our blog! I have decided to go this route instead of the Waylon updates. This is a little easier to create and I believe everyone should be able to not only see it, but post comments right here on the blog. So again Welcome!
We have been enjoying each day as it comes and goes. Waylon is doing wonderful. We say it often but we are so grateful for Waylon, he is the best gift we have ever recieved. He is so smart and so much fun to be around I do not know how to have a bad day when I am around him.
Waylon got his first official haircut about a week or so ago. I wanted to get pictures of this event but couldn't because he was in my lap and Jake was getting his cut at the same time. Waylon cried and wiggled around but overall I think he did well. I can not get over how much a haircut changes his appearance. He looks so handsome and just like a little Jake, I love it!
Waylon is also growing up so fast, I love to just sit and play with him. Waylon has become really good at stacking things. He has some shape blocks that he loves to stack. He can stack almost all of them before they fall over. Although he does become frustrated quite quickly while doing this activity, he still does it often and I know it is building his motor skills, so I try to encourage it as much as I can. Waylon is also speaking so well! He is talking is small simple sentences already. I think Jake and I have helped in speaking clearly to him as much as possible. He does repeat everything! He is saying so much from "Daddy is home," to "I love you mommy!"
We will continue to post events hopefully as they come and go. Enjoy~
