I managed to get almost all of my free items that I had on my list. It amazes me how I went on Wednesday afternoon and some of these items were already gone or close to gone off the shelves. The coupon thing is becoming a big thing and people know about the freebies in a hurry.

I do not always keep all of this stuff either, I spread the wealth..I gave the smoothie drinks to my niece down the street, the Hall cough drops I will give to Laura for her school and the Cheez it's I know my mom loves them so I am giving her a few boxes.

Now I did not include everything because the meat and eggs were good deals but not Free...But this part I love ready.....
I used $11.50 in manufacture coupons
these were matched up to a dollar and I got an additional 5.99 in savings off
using my Fry's VIP card I saved $48.04
which makes my total savings $65.53

My grand total yesterday was $33.77 making my savings 66%!!!

Here is a shot of my pantry, which I am very proud of...It is well stocked with plenty of snacks at the moment...now if I could get some good deals to stock up my freezer again. If you look closely I have multiples of most items and some you can not even see from this picture. It totally looks like I shop too much, but the truth is I shop more for less now and have 3 times as much food as we ever had because I use coupons!

Another Great Quad Ride!

What can I say our boy LOVES to be outside! This was Waylon after a really long quad and Ranger ride with the family. We celebrated Jake's 35th birthday early with his family by going out for a ride and then having dinner.

We had a lot of people and a lot of quads there but had such a great time! It is this time of year when Arizona is at its finest. It is not too hot anymore and it is not cold. (unlike today~a 20 degree drop from yesterday!)

Nothing to exciting happened on this ride, other than on the last stretch one of the quads decided it was done before we made it in. Luckily, it was less than a mile away from our starting point. We had a wonderful weekend with great weather and most importantly great company. Enjoy the pictures~

A fun little Find this morning!

This morning I talked Jake into going on a little run to Safeway after an errand we had to see if they had some deals. Good news is they did, bad news is we had to go to two different stores. Jake and Waylon were up for it, so I took my chance. I usually do not go to Safeway, they often do not have great deals, but these were to good to not pass up and I had the coupons to do it.

Safeway this week was making all manufacture coupons valued up to a dollar this week, so that helped this find greatly. The Ragu was on sale for $1.17 each, which is a pretty good deal anyway. Well I had 3 coupons for $0.30 off which quadrupled up to $1 off! So I got each one for $0.17 Yes!!! Then the cup, was a steal too, usually cups like this are ridiculous in my opinion, but this was marked down to $1.25 a piece. Not bad, but it is even better when you have a $1 off coupon and then it makes it only $0.25....So even though we went to 2 stores we only spent $0.86 this morning on all the items above. Score!!

Here is a cute picture of the little man. He has been feeling a little under the weather this week but managed to make it through the days at Brandy's house while I was at school. He made pumpkin bread and painted this great little pumpkin too. He was very proud of his pumpkin, now if I can just get it through to him that this cute little pumpkin is not a ball to throw we will be good. :-)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Vegas!

What a fast trip, but fun as always. We went to Vegas this weekend to be at Jake's cousin Shannon's wedding. We always stop at the Ward's house when we are there to see Ahna, Ryan and Cooper. Waylon was very excited to see Cooper! We drove up with Grandma and Grandpa and stopped by a good friend of theirs, David, and Waylon got a taste of the drums...He loved it!

Soon after, Ahna picked Waylon and I up and we went back to hang out with them. It always amazes me how when we get together, we both grab our cameras and take so many cute pictures of the boys but always forget to get a least one with each other. Oh well, maybe next time. Cooper was thrilled to have a playmate for awhile and the boys did great together.

Jake arrived in Vegas less than an hour before we were to be at the wedding, so there was not much time to hang out before we were off. The wedding was very nice and it is always great to see family. I got a few good pictures, but I did not get as many as I would have liked to looking back.

We drove home the next morning after having breakfast with Ahna, Ryan and Cooper. Ironically, we pulled into our driveway almost exactly 24 hours after Jake had left the day before. Fast trip, thanks for having us. Here are some pictures of the trip.

Enjoy~

A few updates in One!

Well it is time to blog again, Yeah! In downloading my pictures there are a couple of things to add to the blog. We know I am working hard to save our family money by using coupons and shopping all around. I may be getting better at this, but Jake finds some amazing deals on Craigs List. We got this set of couches a couple of weeks ago for less than a 1/4 than they are actually worth. I am VERY excited because it makes the front room look finished and I love it. Check them out.

Secondly, we (my sister, mom and Aunt) went to the D-backs last game of the season together. Our little tradition we have is going to the first and last games. This is really the only times I go to the games anyway. Well with it being the last game there is always a lot of giveaways and prizes to be won. In a nutshell my sister won one of the jersey off one of the d-back back. Check out the pictures and Courtney's blog for more details.

Third, Waylon has picked out his Halloween costume this year. He is going to be Thomas the Train. I do have pictures, but I want to save them in case I do not get good ones on Halloween. He is really getting excited not only about Halloween and all the decorations, but for Christmas too. With all the decorations in the stores he knows what is coming and this year is going to be sooo much fun at Christmas with him. :-)

We also got together with my dad and his family to celebrate their birthdays. This is something else Waylon is becoming more and more aware of is Birthdays. I remember telling him we were going to Papa's for his birthday and later that day I said that we were going over there for dinner, and he got all upset because he said "No! We are going for birthday mommy."

Enjoy~ More updates soon!
