Happy Valentine's Day

This year I saw a great commercial at Valentines day~and it has stuck with me a lot.  "Valentine's Day is not about saying "I LOVE YOU" but about saying "I LOVE US"~I love how we have gone from strangers, to best friends and how we have grown together and made our family OURS"  This year we celebrated US and the best part of US is these two angels and all their love!
Love is an amazing gift, and the love of your children is the best kind of love a mother receives.  It happens as soon as you know there is a little person growing inside of you and continues "forever" for as long as you live. These two cutie pies of mine were my true joy this year.  Waylon is really getting the hang of all these holidays and Toni just looks so cute in her outfits for the part.  The picture above is moments before heading out the door Monday morning, I had to go to work this year on Valentines Day, but we managed to have a very festive weekend.
We worked on Waylon's Valentines for his "friends" at Brandy's house.  I wrote the names and he was able to trace his name out very well this year.  It is so exciting to see and watch him learn how to do these grown up things that we all take for granted daily. Waylon can officially spell his name.  He even takes the magnets from the fridge and arranges the letters to his name in the correct order.  Good Job Waylon!

Then there was some fun treats to be made.  Mommy had several items that were either free or less than a $1 for us to do that were fun.  We had cookie mix that was left over from Christmas time that I had gotten for free and then I had picked up the candy hearts for less than $1.  We also made these jello hearts for some more treats for Valentines Day too.  I had all these items just sitting in the pantry ready to use from who knows how long  ago.

I just wish Waylon had a little bit more of a sweet tooth...Because Mommy ate most of the goodies he just likes to MAKE them and then they sit here. Someone has to EAT them!

This he DID eat. Our 2nd Annual Pink Breakfast.  This year he had pink milk, pink chocolate chip  heat shaped pancakes and pink yogurt!  This I did not eat!

Monday Morning~Happy Valentines Day!
Waylon had been patiently waiting for his Valentines Day heart shaped donut for breakfast. He was surprised to see he had also received some goodies from mommy.
I had a little box filled with candy, PEZ, and of course a new red car for him!

Love is AN AMAZING thing and I am blessed to be surrounded by it each and every day.

Look Who is 7 Months!

Here is my Sweet Love! This month from 6-7 has been a huge step forward for Toni as she has done a lot this month.  As you can tell in the picture she is now sitting up very well on her own.  Yeah, no more falling over during these pictures.  Another fun thing is her flapping arms, which you can also see from the picture.  You know when this happy little girl gets excited alright.

I love this one...Not the most attractive picture but definitely one that it classic.  She looks as if she is getting "bored" with these pictures.  However, Waylon can not get enough of them and always wants more.  Seriously though these two can not get enough of each other and LOVE each other dearly.

Toni was introduced to the Jumperoo early this month and fell in love with it right away~ This picture was her first day in hers.  She had spent some time in Brandy's the day before but was very pleased when Mommy had one too! Such a great invention this thing is!

This is a totally cute outfit she got from the Jones family this month.  I mean can she be any cuter in it! Thanks she looks so cute, with her big brown eyes.

Toni also took her first trip to the park with a swing.  Since she loved the Jumperoo so much we thought she would love this and she did. This was a special trip because it was so beautiful out and we went to the park on this day as a whole family. Such a great day it was, I really wish every weekend was like this one.
This picture was taken literally the day she learned to sit up alone.  Earlier this morning I had her on the floor and we were playing and she had been sitting up but with support and then she would fall over. Then later that night again we were all on the floor and she sat up like it was nothing.  Never fell over and just smiled and played watching daddy, mommy and big brother surrounding her on the floor. She has done super ever since.
Super cute picture of daddy and his little girl at the park.
Another fun thing this month is the high chair.  She now sits in it for all her meals and she just recently started trying the snacks to eat.  This is so comical because it is more of a game to just pick up the pieces and play with them.  She is only eating them when Waylon and I place one in her mouth.  She will soon get it and before you know it this will be one of those food everywhere shots. I just love her concentration on this picture, I can hear her grunting as she tries so hard to get it.

Toni has done so much this month. She started rolling over at the very beginning of the month.  She does not do this a lot now just because she is sitting up most of the time on the floor, but she has definitely mastered rolling over.  Toni and Waylon also had some pretty bad colds this month.  Took them both to the Dr. and they both got meds and a trip back to the Dr.  Waylon needed a breathing treatment because his cough was so bad, luckily Toni just sounded bad but was not nearly as bad as Waylon was. I spent an entire night up with him as he slept for 20 minutes at a time and then would wake up coughing. Poor Baby!  Anyway, we go back to the Dr. next week for a booster shot for Toni for a second round of her flu shot and then hopefully we are done with the Dr. for a while.

Enjoyed this month and all that our "Little Missy" has done.
Love you Baby Girl
Happy 7 months!
