Ahhh Spring Break

Hey there Mommy~Hang in there only 43 days left until Summer

I Absolutely LOVE Spring Break...but HATE it too because it is like giving you your favorite "beverage" and saying "here ya go, get comfortable and have just a sip then in 43 days you can finish the rest of it!"

I had such a great time spending EVERY SINGLE MINUTE WITH MY KIDS!!!! We started off to a rough start with kiddos being sick and Dr. Apt...but I am pretty sure that High doses of Mommy and SUNSHINE cure EVERYTHING!!! So this blog is mostly documented with pictures from our week together.
Hang in there Kiddos...Mommy is almost off for the summer~~~
These two watch a movie every day together. I love the way they both are so in to it, but also their poses too.

Well we went back out to Anthem, and NOT for a Dr. Apt. We saw Connor again and got to hang out in a firetruck. Waylon had a lot of question on what they do when they get there before the Ambulance etc. Toni and Connor...Well this was them in the truck!

Toni was in heaven with the ducks. She could have stayed here all day. I desperately need to take her to the ZOO so she can hang out with all the animals....Maybe we can talk Gammie into going with us~WINK WINK
Then there was the hot dog..This girl needed No BABY bites. She wanted it like the rest of us and ate as much as her brother. I think she only left two or three bites.
I love this picture because you can hear her and how In Love she was with this hot dog. PS this was the 3 rd one she had had in 3 days.

Waylon saved his extra space for this Shrek Treat! Ate the gum and everything! This was his first time actually being allowed to have gum.. I guess I need to buy a pack for him because we all know I am going to hear this all the time now!

I brought his bike this time. Good Idea for most of the day...I really wanted to take the training wheels off during break but he was not ready yet.

I guess our Anthem day wore him out. This was the only nap he took this week. It was only about 40 minutes but just enough to get him all ready for his cousin Kylie to come over for dinner.
We did a lot of practice Easter egg hunts too. We have a big one for Easter each year at the Pickard's so Toni is in Training. She LOVES to do this. Plus is good color reinforcement for her and addition for Waylon too.
Well we played outside a lot this week. Especially when the weather was warmer. This was Toni at 8:30 this morning. Jammies on with her sparkle shoes on wanting to go OUTSIDE!
Well we went on a quick coupon run and also bought a plant for $2.50 so Waylon would have something to "work on" in the yard. I felt bad he worked and worked yesterday in the backyard getting the flowerbed ready for my roses. Long story short I won't be planting them, but he doesn't know why. So we bought this today and he was THRILLED with it...We will have to see how it does. I think it is a MUM plant.

More Easter egg Practice. These however had an M&M in each egg.

Counting our eggs

Then we ate our dinner outside. We did this twice and I LOVE being able to do this. I will be more excited when I don't have to lug the highchair out too.
Such a beautiful night to do this and a PERFECT way to end our SPRING BREAK.

My Quick Coupon Run... I have not had one of these is SOO long I forgot how GREAT IT FEELS TO SPEND NOTHING AND GET A LOT.
Basic Run down is the Jelly Beans and Snickers Eggs were basically free after Extra Care bucks. I scanned my CVS card and got a $1 off coupon of 2 pkgs of M&M's. I thought I had a coupon for this so I went home to check. I am so glad I did because it was going to expire today. So I talked the kids into going back and we used the Extra Care bucks and 2 coupons to buy these. Which were BOGO's too. I had to snag the chocolate bunny to bring my total up...But not bad for all that for $0.67 RIGHT?
Summer I am looking forward to you more than ever before. I miss my kids so much this year.

Green Day AKA St. Patrick's Day

Happy Green Day!  Our Day started off with our traditional GREEN breakfast this year. We made cinnamon rolls and green frosting and then had green grapes and apples too.  I forget how exciting cinnamon rolls are but my kids LOVE them...and they are easy to adjust for the holiday too.

Toni in her Green attire and head band. Although she did not wear it much throughout the day she sure looks cute here.

Here is a picture of Waylon and his favorite dog (aka Underdog) all dressed up for Green Day too. There green breakfast and all.
I forgot to mention (and take pictures too-Rats all my stuff is put away) all the fun they had a Brandy's the day before for Green day. She gave them lucky charms and a cute note that read "I am Lucky to have you" they also had a leprechaun who had hidden green coins for them over the past few weeks he brought them a surprise of Lucky Bucks and they also made these cute leprechaun
out of their hand prints too.
So St. Patrick's Day was their 2nd Green Day-but just as fun.
We went to Anthem with Aunt Corty and Uncle Jon to play at the park with Connor and some friends.

Uncle Jon brought a ball to play with and Aunt Corty brought some bubbles too. Hmmm they were more prepared for the fun than I was. I totally wish I had brought Waylon's bike, oh well...

We also got to ride the train too..

Love this little girl and her smile.

Here are some tattoos they also got from Brandy. We stuck them all over us (Waylon and I) on Green day...
Then it was time for Green Day #3 with Amy and the Boys!!!!
This is them eating their annual green lunch. So fun because this year Toni was apart of the fun and she would really watch the boys carefully and then just laugh but I really think she had no clue what she was laughing at, she was just happy to be with the boys.  She would also follow them around while they were playing and just call for Waylon. You would hear her go from room to room calling "Way Way"

Then it was time for the Shamrock Scavenger Hunt. Here are the Boys and one Girl getting ready for the first clue. This is always fun but I think we need to get a little more creative as it seems to not be as exciting the older they get...hmmmm

The Prizes at the end are always a Hit though. This year they found a pot of gold with Pencils, flags, Silly String and more in it for them.
But wait there was MORE~~~ Over by the shop was little green hats filled with candy!!! Super Fun!

Ahh Yes the Silly String. We all have to do it, and the boys loved this. Thank goodness we had the candy because it was a great motivator for who got to eat their candy first. The first person to have the biggest ball when we were cleaning up got the first piece.

Then we finished off this year with Schubert ice cream and rainbow sprinkles. Yum!! I love Jason's big green hat. Another super fun green day here and gone. I look forward to this day not just for the kids sake but to see my neighbor Amy too! I miss having her next door. Until next time Neighbors~Happy Green Day

A Family FUN Night!!!

A few weeks ago we went to Chuckie-Cheese and a Car Show. These were two seperate nights but we had a blast. We spent a good portion of the weekend with Daddy and had a great time. The car show we went to the first night was not that big and we were there a little too early so it was not what we had hoped for with Waylon. We had planned on going to Chuckie Cheese afterwards because it was near the car show and we had a TONS of coins from the last time we went..which I think Toni was only a couple of months old.  It was fun to watch Toni go around and play and see how much she LOVED the mouse that comes out...

She spotted him while eating her dinner and wanted down immediately. She followed him to this birthday party and kept waving at him and saying "hi!" She was THRILLED when she finnally got his attention and was able to give him a high five!

The next night we went to a different car show and we decided to go a little later so the show would be bigger. Waylon LOVED THIS and had a great time looking at the cars.
We had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa at Carambas and then they joined us at the car show too. We all got a kick out of Waylon, not only knowing all the cars, but also getting down and looking under everyone he thought was worthy.
This was 1976 van that he LOVED. I think mostly because the guy let him crawl around and check it out. I will say it was pretty cool inside and well kept.

This was how the two of them looked most of the night! My boys Love them! Of course they would be checking out this CAMERO.
Can't wait to do it again over the summer when the weather is even better.
I love nights like this when we are ALL together.
