Sedona in April

Aright I know it says April and this is posted in May but things are super busy around here and they are only going to get busier...SO here goes several blogs...We will start several weeks ago, ok almost 2 months ago in Sedona. We took our annual trip with the Pickard's up to the Forest Houses. This year we had amazing weather and spent a lot of time outside. Raynee, my in laws dog, came too and Toni was so happy to see her.
Toni checking out Mommy's glasses. Silly Girl they are upside down!
Here is Gavin and Waylon at the beginning of the walk checking out what they call "The Leprechan House" they always talk about. So here is their famous picture by it.
Like I said we spent a lot of time outside and this is one of our favorite walks. This year Toni was able to do the walk with us and boy did she. It is quite a walk but she DID it all the way there. We spent a lot of time fishing down by the water (well not really fishing but pretending) and we also threw rocks in the creek and just enjoyed the beautiful weather we had up there.

Daddy is trying to show Toni how to skip rocks outside.  She absolutely adores him and just has this man wrapped around her finger but in a good way. She listens to all the things he teaches her and she just loves being close to her daddy.
Grandpa was making fishing poles for everyone to "fish" with and here is Waylon getting his.
Toni was more than happy to have a ride on Daddy's shoulders for the walk back as it is a little harder and requires going uphill. Plus it was getting close to melt down time with lunch and naps around the corner. So she rode back to make the trip back a little quicker.
Even though this year it was not Easter up in Sedona when we went, we still practiced looking for eggs while we were up there.  The boys had a great time hiding the eggs for Toni so that she could be prepared for Easter this year.
We had a great time here the kids are enjoying snack and some hot chocolate too. We spent some time with my in-laws and although it was crowded for one night, I LOVED it...I love having us all around together. My family is so lucky to have everyone so close to them.
One of my favorite pictures of the trip. Hudson is reading to Toni and Waylon on our ride home. I am so happy to listen to him read as he is such a great reader! Hudson you make me proud, and Waylon wants to be just like you! He hardly struggled on any of the words and even had some expression. Great JOB kiddo!!!
