I am Thankful for...

This blog could be really long, but my goal is to keep it short and sweet. Well Thanksgiving came and went, and my camera had no power! We had a great time...but I have been thinking of all my things to be so thankful for and here are just a few....(I mean few...I could go on forever)

1) My life! Everything in it, around and about it. I could not have a better one.
2) My family- I have the best! My family is so supportive and amazing I can not imagine how empty my life would be without any of them. I mean everyone too! My family (Jake and Waylon), my parents, sister, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandparents, in-laws, co workers, friends..and these are in NO particular order either... I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!
3)My Job- having a job for one, and one I enjoy AND doing it with someone else PART TIME...I mean who could ask for anything more there??
4) My home- I love my home, and each and every day I am SO thankful to be in this great neighborhood and beautiful house.
5) My Baby- Waylon is the best thing I have ever done in my life!!!! I love that little man so much and I am so PROUD to be his Mommy!!

Last but certainly not least is all the blessings that surround me....each day something amazing happens...It is in your power to see that amazing thing every day! If you see it, then it has been a great day.

I tried to keep it short and sweet- In a nutshell- I am thankful for my world that surrounds me! I wonder why some days we want more in life when what we already have is so amazing...and the only answer I can think of is...when you have a good thing you just want more of it...

Lots of Love from someone who feels very grateful!

Time Flies When Your Having Fun!

Ok so I know this is not the best picture...quality wise, but there is an amazing story behind it. I can not believe it has already been a few weeks since this picture but time is flying by.
A few weeks ago we had a great weekend filled with lots of family time and we had a blast! We spent the last nice weekend just a few miles north of our house at Lake Pleasant in our trailer. We took Waylon on the last camping trip for the season. It was great, because there was a lot of dirt for Waylon to kick and most importantly we were camping! We took a few quad rides, went down by the water, and just hung out together. I did not take many pictures but here are a few.
To end this great weekend we took Waylon up to the mall to see Santa. I had been talking to him about it all week, preping him for what it would be like and what to say. I had no idea that he would have done everything so perfectly when the actual visit came. I wish I would have had my video camera to capture this amazing day with him. Oh well my story here will forever be my memory of this day.
Now last year, Waylon was excited to see Santa because we went with our cousins and he was all for it, until it was his turn! Then he wanted nothing to do with it, so I was kind of planning on the same thing this year. Boy was I wrong! First, we walked up and stopped to check out Santa, not to close, but not to far away either. Then once daddy was there we waited in the very short line and then it was our turn. When I told Waylon, "ok go ahead it is your turn" he ran up to Santa and gave him the biggest hug, high five and knuckles. What an amazing smile on his face!! (the picture does capture that thank goodness) He was so excited and listened to everything Santa was asking him. He sat up in his lap and told Santa, "I have been good and would like a fire truck and a police car!" Santa was pretty impressed himself, with how well Waylon spoke to him and asked him if there was anything else like puzzels or books, and Waylon kindly declined and said "no thank you" I could not believe it this was just such a great trip for him. I told Santa, well he is doing great so I guess daddy and I do not need to be in the picture but Santa said of course you NEED to be in the picture.
Thank you Santa, what a great picture it is.

Happy Halloween!

Well Halloween has come and gone, and it was awesome! It is so much fun because we get to celebrate birthday's and Halloween all in one day at our house. So needless to say Waylon was one excited boy yesterday.

I had made Waylon a pumpkin pancake for breakfast, which I thought was more cool than he did. It was not pumpkin flavored, just looked like one. Then we spent the day with daddy hanging out and after naps is when the fun really started to happen.

We went to Brandy's (his daycare)house first and he was so excited. He walked up to the house in costume and all ready to see her. Once we got there he was not so sure because there was a lot of people he did not know there and his trucks were not out for him to play with! Thank goodness, otherwise we would have never left. He did great and warmed up to her crowd fast as usuall and everyone loved him and said he was just to cute.

We came home and waited for our family to arrive so the offical trick or treating could start. I really was not sure how it was going to go, the neighbors I had wanted to go to were all out of town so we had to just go down a random street. Papa and I took Waylon down the street in his wagon in costume. Do you believe this child kept the think on the entire time. He got the hang of this whole trick or treating this faster than I had imagined. Walked up to the door and even said Thank you to most houses. One house even gave him Money!!! ($1, but still)

It was nice this year because he got the idea but never really missed the candy. So when we got back to our house and were running low we just dumped what we had recieved into our bowl and handed it out. Awesome!!! Got the expierence without the extra candy left here.

Then we celebrated Jake and my sister's birthdays inside with all the lights out in the front. We ran out of candy early, oh well. Waylon was so excited to have everyone there and of course to have the birthday cake. We sang happy birthday to each of them seperately and had a great night.

Jake got an amazing picture blown up of his car from me for his birthday. I am so proud of Stacey, it looks amazing. One day we will get it framed. Jake just sits and stares at it in awe....

Happy Birthday babe, and Happy Halloween everyone!
