Here's how it works... 1. Go to your documents/pictures. 2. Go to your 6th file folder. 3. Go to your 6th picture. 4. Post and blog about it. 5. Tag 6 people to do the same !!! Ok So I probably won't get six people but I thought this was fun so here it is!

This picture was taken January 18th of 2008! Seems like yesterday in some ways and forever like other ways. This is when Waylon was just starting to push himself up and get in that "on all fours, I am gonna Move!"mode.. I caught this picture because it speaks so many words. My cat Bailey is looking at Waylon like, "Hey you are not supposed to come after me you HEAR!" and Waylon is just now realizing that this cat is his TRUE motivation to get movin'

In doing this it is fun, but also makes you realize how much of you and your husband and family and friends in pictures all just dissolve. But that is what happens I guess when you just center your world around the best thing you and your husband have ever done!!!

The Park

Well we met Grandma and Papa at the park today. I wish we would have timed it a little better but Waylon had fun. Next time Grandma and Papa will have to come the whole time to see all the things that Waylon loves about the park. This particular park is about 10 minutes away from our house and it is much larger than ours here in our community.

As you can see Waylon loves the slide, no matter how high it is I think he could slide all day. That is probably why he is still asleep. It makes me love the park to some days. Next time we go to the park we need more pictures of all of us, Grandma and me too. Today it seemed to be all about Waylon and Papa.

Waylon goes to a Birthday Party!

Our neighbor Jason turned 4 and had a huge birthday party! What a lucky kiddo. There was a huge bounce house set up in their driveway and a Fire ladder truck stopped by for a friendly visit. Waylon has been in these bounce houses two other times and he seems to really enjoy them. I think he is still to little but he insists being with his big friends. I guess he gets that from all his big cousins

It is so hard to get good pictures of a child who is too cute and active to stop and smile for Mommy! So these are the type of pictures I get.

Waylon also started to use a plate with three different sections in it for meals this weekend. I love it because for the moment it seems to be less mess but I am sure he will figure out the large mess he can make by turning the plate over. I try to get good pictures of him but he either is to involved in seeing himself or looks silly! So these are the best pictures I got of him this weekend.

Then there are the good ol' days of spagetti. He used to make such a mess! He still does now but at least he uses a spoon more than his fingers and the sauce doesn't paint his face like Bozo the clown anymore.

Return tomorrow for more pictures! We are hopefully going to meet Grandma and Papa at the park and have lunch together! As Waylon would say, "Oh Boy Park!"

Our Long Weekend Together~

That's right we had a long weekend TOGETHER- Jake was home for 5 nights and 4 full days and we all had so much fun together. As many of you know Jake works out of town and is gone most of the week and then when he is home he has a long list of things to do. (as we all do, I know mine never seems to be done) Well, this weekend was long enough to spread that list out and get most of the things done and also have a lot of quality time as a family.

The weekend started on Thursday night with just the three of us hanging out and going to the park. Our neighborhood was very quite because everyone had gone somewhere for the weekend. We like those weekends at times.

Then on Friday night it was PARTY NIGHT! Ahna, Ryan and Cooper were here from Vegas and we had our traditional party night theme. Ahna's parents, my mom, and my sister and my brother-in-law were all there...The only down fall of that night was I did not take any pictures of the group just the little boys playing on the floor together.

Then Saturday (Valentine's Day) was just a regular day but a day of being together~That is my favorite kind of gift. That night Jake and I had a date night at the house after Waylon was in bed. Date nights usually consist of a few beverages and some steaks!

Then Sunday night Waylon spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He loves it there and talks about there puppies and outside all the time after he leaves from their house. Jake and I then made a trip to Caramba's with my family~ this is always a good time.

Lastly, Monday we spent the day together just running errands and having fun. I went to a sale at used kids place and found 9 pieces of clothing for Waylon for $10. Daddy and Waylon were outside checking out a firetruck while I was shopping! I love being in those stores and not being rushed. We also ended up leaving with a firetruck toy too that was just to cute to pass up and Waylon loves it!



Alright, I know it is a typical weekend for many of you. But this was something that we have not done in a long time. I forget sometimes (mostly because I force myself to not dwell on it) just how much I do miss days like this. All of this is just for a little while but still I do miss it so much! Jake I love you and thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Good Evening Everyone!

Well I think I am becoming a little involved with this new blogging thing! I love it, I secretly watch other blogs and try to do some of their ideas as well. I am having fun because it is like scrapbooking and e-mailing all in one! I am still working on some more tricksto add to my blog to make it look even better!
I am going to blog more but tomorrow. So now you will have to secretly come back and check it out I want to share our fun filled weekend we had. I am very tired and am going to go to bed. Come back to check out the Pickard's latest Blog.
